Nat Sherman Tobacconist has been synonymous with the New York City smoking scene for more than eight decades, however there were years when Nat Sherman as a company struggled to produce a national brand. That time has changed. Through cooperation between the Sherman family and Michael Herklots, Nat Sherman is now a national player in the premium cigar business, most notably with its Timeless Collection. There are two versions—one made in the Dominican Republic, and the Nicaraguan version here. The Nat Sherman Timeless Collection Nicaragua 652T, a handsomely box-pressed torpedo, captured the No. 21 spot on our list. These figurados are a medium- to full-bodied affair offering a rich range of molasses, oak and semisweet chocolate.
