Torpedo

Tasting Note: The draw of this torpedo imparts copious amounts of smoke that layers the palate with notes of leather and almond balanced by honey and a touch of citrus.

First it was made in Miami, then it wasn't, then it was again. Today, the Padilla Miami 8&11 is rolled in Miami's El Titan de Bronze factory on the corner of 8th Street and 11th Avenue in Little Havana. Brand owner Ernesto Padilla has always considered his cigars to be boutique brands and the Padilla Miami 8&11 stays true to this sentiment. If there is a Miami-style of cigar, it's most apparent in the construction, as many rollers in Little Havana were trained in Cuban factories before emigrating to Florida. These Torpedos are impeccably assembled and benefit from the slow pace of a small, boutique-style rolling gallery. We found them to have a light cocoa quality along with notes of candied fruit and oak.

An attractive torpedo with a smooth draw. It has rich hardwood notes with a touch of spice on the finish. Medium to full bodied.
